- Before and After Pictures of Air Conditioning Systems
In a recent Air Conditioning installation, Donovan Heat & Air worked with a system in which the indoor unit happened to be located in the attic. As we’ve mentioned before, attic installs can be particularly difficult. Nevertheless, the guys at Donovan are up to the task!
In order to ensure the installation is done correctly and prevent future leaks, you have to replace the auxiliary drain pan. In addition, it is extremely important to install to water safety device. One directly on the pan and the other on the drain line. Take a look at the pictures below.
The existing Air Handler above has numerous things that need to be fixed so the system can work properly. The two plenums need to be replaced. We also insulated the drain line and increased the return and supply.
The new air handler above has the drain line insulated and the new plenums. We have the before and after pictures of the outdoor units below.
The new outdoor unit will be installed on a hurricane pad. Also you can see a lot of leaves around the outdoor unit. We installed a leaf guard to prevent leaves from getting inside the new unit.
Another great system installed by Donovan Heat and Air.
